6 New Black Belts

Professor AJ Scales 3rd Degree Black Belt was happy to promote 6 of his long term students to Black Belt during the 2020 Year End Conference. Each one of these students have put a decade or more into their Jiu-Jitsu journey. And this past weekend their commitment to Jiu-Jitsu was recognized in typical surprising fashion.

Jason Church, Mike Wood, Mark Kleefeld, Paul Grebinski, Jesse Schellenberg and Kelly Parent all were awarded their Black Belts. Professor AJ Scales spoke about each individual and their hard work, commitment, their commitment to their team mates, commitment to their Jiu-Jitsu journey, commitment to their students and believing in the process.

Black belts also were award their 1st and 2nd degrees on their Black belts. Daryle Sveinson was award his second degree. Janz Stein was awarded his second degree. Kevin Britton was awarded his 1st degree. And Sam King was awarded his instructor bars after one year as a Black Belt.
